Michael Schumacher health update: ‘A case without hope’, says his wife

Seven-time world champion Formula One driver Michael Schumacher “is a case without a hope”. In a rare health update, sports journalist and his friend Roger Benoit said Wednesday that the 54-year-old’s case is one “without hope”. Talking to the Swiss newspaper ‘Blick’, he said, “No. There is only one answer to this question and that is what his son Mick gave in one of his rare interviews in 2022 – ‘I would give anything to talk to Dad’. He said further, “This sentence says everything about how his father has been doing for over 3,500 days. A case without hope.”

The man who used to drive cars at the fastest speed fell while skiing in the Alps in 2013, got nearly fatally injured, and never came back to his senses. After getting injured, the doctors put him in a medically induced coma for 250 days, before permitting him to go home.
