Novak Djokovic will be in action on day four of the Australian Open as the Serb faces home favourite Alexei Popyrin in the second round. Djokovic, who is aiming to win his 11th title in Melbourne, is likely to be playing against the crowd when he goes up against Popyrin at the Rod Laver Arena.
The 36-year-old suffered a scare against teenage qualifier Dino Prizmic in the previous round but will have high hopes of securing a more comfortable victory over Popyrin later today. The likes of Stefankos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev will also be looking to get themselves into round three by winning their respective matches against Jordan Thompson and Christopher Eubanks.
There has already been a major upset on day four in Melbourne, with Ons Jabeur crashing out at the hands of Mirra Andreeva in straight sets. The 16-year-old was utterly ruthless as she raced to a 6-0 6-2 win in just under an hour, putting out a stark warning to her Australian Open rivals in the process.
